State Development Corporation in partnership with White & Partners identified this site as a future urban site. The site has high exposure to Toombull Road and is a short walk to the Northgate train station.
Brisbane City Council is currently undertaking a new local area neighbourhood plan for the Northgate area. In the draft plan, the site has been identified by the council as suitable for redevelopment with a variety of uses, some of which include shops, offices, service centre, warehouses, research & technology industry, service industry, markets, community use, hotel or club with a maximum building height of six stories.
The proposed redevelopment of the site will start once the new neighbourhood plan is adopted by the Brisbane City Council.
